These are works I did on primarily wood that incorporate fragments of various types of broken glass on the surface. Sometimes these works are done as movable screens. Initially thees works were figurative in nature but later I began using jewelry as imagery. I entitled this series "The Ring Cycle" after Wagner. . The irony here being that the images of expensive rings are often made from common glass that I found in the street.
